Living In Westwood
Westwood is bordered on the west by Brentwood, on the north by Bel-Air, to the east by Beverly Hills and Century City, West Los Angeles to the southwest, and Rancho Park on the southeast. Westwood Village is at the heart of this vibrant district which still retains some of it’s original historic-cultural building landmarks and theaters. Westwood is best know for being the home of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) campus. Located in the northern central section of Los Angeles’ Westside. The suburban-like family style neighborhood of Westwood has many prime examples of Spanish Style homes that lie on picturesque rolling hills and gentle curved tree-lined streets. A winding two-mile stretch of Wilshire Boulevard, known as The Wilshire Corridor, passes through the eastern section of Westwood towering with its ultra-luxury residential high-rises buildings which are famous for their city, mountain and ocean views. This section is often referred as “The Golden Mile”.
