Living In Los Feliz
Los Feliz is an affluent hilly district that is well known for two of its iconic destinations, the Griffith Observatory and the Greek Theatre, and one of LA’s most famous parks, Griffith Park. In its hey-day, Los Feliz had many of its classic dives such as The Brown Derby and The Dresdan Room frequented by creative writers, artists, musicians, and poets. In today’s modern times, this neighborhood has fast become a place for hipsters. It is a popular neighborhood among those looking to be in close proximity to boutique shopping, cutting-edge restaurants, cool bars, and lively entertainment, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking, tennis, and golf. The local real estate is eclectic in Los Feliz with an excellent choice of beautiful Spanish homes and updated contemporary moderns and adorable California bungalows. It is a neighborhood that rises from the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains bordered by Hollywood Boulevard to the south, Griffith Park to the north, Hyperion Avenue to the southeast and, to the east the Los Angeles River.
