Living In Hancock Park
Hancock Park is one of Los Angeles’ historic neighborhoods developed during the 1920’s. This highly affluent urban neighborhood was originally a “Who’s Who” list of much of the cities original pioneer families such as Doheny, Chandleer, Huntington, and Van Nuys who were among the early residents. Located South of Wilshire Boulevard, North of Melrose Avenue, with La Brea Avenue to the west, and Van Ness Avenue to the East, there are many impressive homes were designed by well-known architects, such as Paul Williams, A. C. Chisholm, and John Austin. Today, Hancock Park remains one of LA’s most beautiful and highly desirable neighborhoods.
