Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties’ New Homes Division on Track for Growth in 2020
June 5, 2020 in Latest News

Headed by founding New Homes Directors Markus Canter and Cristie St. James of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties’ Beverly Hills office, the Division is strengthening its prominence in the busy Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego markets, with a strong focus on representing condominium, townhouse, mid-rise, high-rise, mixed-use and single-family-home developments.

The New Homes Division of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is poised for continued growth throughout Southern California in 2020, according to an announcement by the company.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties has collaborated with some of the region’s most respected developers, investors, private partners and builders to represent a diverse portfolio of distinguished new properties from Santa Barbara to San Diego. The New Homes Division offers developers cutting-edge, comprehensive sales management, marketing, advertising, consultation, market research, and broker outreach.

A wealth of support flows to the New Homes Division from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, including one-stop mortgage, escrow and title services, and an in-house legal department. The company is a part of HomeServices of America, Inc., which itself is in a growth cycle. It is the country’s largest residential real estate company, according to RISMedia’s Power Broker Report, based on 2018 closed transaction sides for the nation’s top 500 brokerages.

“With the world-renowned strength and integrity of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties brand backing us, we are confident that the New Homes Division will set new standards of excellence within the exciting new-homes space,” Canter says.

“We’ve always had a very clear vision of how to make this division stand out among the rest,” St. James notes. “We are humbled and excited to spearhead this booming division, as new homes become more and more of a priority in some of the country’s largest metropolitan areas.”

Mary Lee Blaylock, president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, echoes the same optimism for the division’s success this year.

“At the heart of every good company are people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and work tirelessly for their clients,” she says. “That is who Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is: hardworking with just the right amount of care and professionalism. This New Homes Division allows us to expand our client base and share our expertise to a larger demographic. We are well-poised to grow in this endeavor, and greatly appreciate the expert guidance of Markus and Cristie. We look forward to 2020 and beyond as we expand our New Homes Division.”

With its established network of agents who have extensive experience representing new-home developments, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is geared to achieve the same status for its New Homes Division under Canter and St. James’ combined leadership.
